Buhler USD #313 has hired Landmark Architects to help complete three projects to be funded out of capital outlay. One of the projects includes remodeling the newly purchased Masonic Lodge located at 1800 E. 23rd Street in Hutchinson for AdAstra Academies. This location will become the home of USD 313’s Alternative Academy, along with the Virtual Academy. It is under contract for $235,000 and will undergo a remodel before welcoming the staff and students in August of 2024.
Additionally, the district is pursuing two daycare centers. One to be located in Hutchinson and the other in Buhler with the goal of opening in January of 2025.
The next step towards completion of the projects is to hire a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). Interviews for the CMAR will be held in early September.
