The wellness program was designed to promote wellness among our staff. This program was approved by 313 District Wellness Committee, August 2, 2017. As we get closer to the start date of the next Level a new Completion Form will be added.
The Wellness Presentation gives an in depth view of our Wellness Program as well as why it is important to participate. It also includes the list of individuals on the Wellness Committee. The Wellness Program Flyer gives you a snapshot of each Level and what the requirements and incentives are.
Level Three: Due May 3rd
Activity--Wellness Camp--March 11th @PHMS from 12:30 PM-2:00 PM. We will have a variety of sessions with some AWESOME presenters! Participants will have a catalog of activities to choose from and will complete three rotations on the day.
Challenge--Personalized Fitness Challenge--
You will commit to a 30-day workout regimen of your choice. Could be walking, yoga, strength training, etc. At the end of the regimen, you will complete the reflection form below.

Keeping track of food consumed can help you make changes to your diet and lose weight. You can use it to improve your health by tracking what you eat and drink. This can help you understand your eating habits.
Participants will track food consumed in a 24 hour period for 30 consecutive days. This includes food, drink, and condiments. You may use the following to track your food:

ITrackBites - Food database, Restaurant database, Barcode Scanner, Weight Tracker, Community... You name it, our app has everything you need to succeed and reach your health and fitness goals. Similar to Weight Watchers
Food must be tracked for 30 consecutive days and completed by Jan. 31st.
Level 2 Activity--Nutrition Presentation and Reflection (Go-to B-Well Teammate-Lori Zachary)
Alyssa Lesser (a former BHS graduate) is a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer with Genesis Health Clubs in Salina. She will be presenting on healthy food choices and proper serving sizes. This presentation will give helpful information to go along with the tracking challenge for this Level. Alyssa will be presenting on December 4th at 4:00 in the PHMS library. If you are unable to attend we will have a video of her presentation available along with a reflection to complete. If you attend, you do NOT need to do the reflection.
